I have chosen to research Baroque architecture to give me ideas towards the type of setting I could take my photographs in for my Autumn/Winter '15-16 Baroque trend; I have chosen to research about the Asamkirche. The Asamkirche in Munich, Germany is an 18th-century Baroque church built by the Asam brothers. The interior inside still to this day is untouched and no surface is undecorated.

History of Asamkirche
In 1729-30, sculptor Egid Qurin Asam bought two properties which he converted into a family home for himself. Soon after, he acquired a plot of land next to his house where in 1733 he began to build a church dedicated to St. John Nepomuk; (a 14th-century Bohemian monk). The church was completed in 1746.

Features of Asamkirche
The Asamkirche is a long and narrow chapel occupying a slim space between two houses. Its facade features a large statue of St. John Nepomuk over the door, carved with scenes from his life, as well as portraits of Pope Benedict XIII and Bishop Johann Theodor of Freising.

The tall wooden doors lead into an oval-shaped entrance hall containing Baroque decorations of symbolic figures such as a wreath to represent saintliness.

Dolce & Gabbana's Autumn/Winter '15-16 Campaign "Viva la Mamma" was all about a celebration of Motherhood; dedicated to the mothers of the World. The catwalk revealed a set of mothers as models dressed in black silk and lace slips, each with their own children by their side; from babies to toddlers. The collection itself was uplifting and loving by focusing on the concept of parenthood and family.

Garments in the collection included lace dresses, Forties-inspired skirt suits, shift dresses and fit and flare coats. Red roses and baroque print was the recurring motif throughout the collection and this is why I think the Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter '15-16 collection is good inspiration for the Baroque trend I want to use as my final trend.

The Baroque print is featured in sequins on shift dresses and embroidered in lace and red dresses. The use of rich colours such as black, gold and deep red portray the collection as being luxurious; these are the colours I wish to use within my final Baroque trend.

As a reward to myself for completing several of my deadlines I purchased myself a pair of loafers from Kurt Geiger. I've always wanted a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes and as Spring is here I thought it would be appropriate to purchase a pair of comfortable, flat shoes to walk around in the daytime with.

I fell in love with these patent nude loafers as soon as I set eyes on them. Nude is a neutral colour that goes with everything so I wouldn't be limited in outfit choices to go with the shoes. The use of patent material not only makes the shoes look shiny but also makes them look more smart.

I styled my loafers with a silk, pale pink short-sleeved t-shirt and white jeans to have a light, casual, Spring outfit. Overall I am happy with my purchase!

The theme around Chloé's Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-to-Wear collection involved all things Bohemian; where suede shorts and shirt combos were present throughout the collection and outbursts of denim in cropped, straight-leg jeans, mini skirts and maxi skirts were also displayed. The collection portrayed a feminine and elegant edge to the well-known Bohemian trend that is influenced from the Hippie subculture.

Garments in the collection included balloon sleeve blouses, kaftans, dresses and shorts made from sheer fabrics, crochet and suede. Each outfit was teamed with knee-high lace-up heels in a selection of black, red and beige colours. The Bohemian trend is often connotated as being quite urban but Chloé alters this by using feminine garments such as floaty dresses that sweep behind as you walk, to provide a romantic approach.

The colour scheme run throughout the collection included colours of black, white, grey, orange, brown and yellow which gave the collection a warm and welcoming feel.

The Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition is one of the most extraordinary, creative exhibitions I have ever been to. With the rooms having little light and the sound of theatrical music being played in the background, the exhibition portrayed a mysterious atmosphere. The exhibition was a timeline of Alexander McQueen's life and was organised in order of years, showcasing each particular collection he created. One room showcased all of his heritage, tartan pieces, whereas another room showcased all his Romanticism pieces. My favourite room was the last room of the exhibition where the room contained hundreds of glass boxes containing collaborated work from Philip Treacey, Givenchy and other designers. The room also contained televisions of past catwalks from Alexander McQueen and mannequins that gracefully rotated in the air like a doll in a trinket box.

A few weeks ago me and the girls planned a fashion-filled day where we went for fashion afternoon tea at the Berkeley Hotel and to the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition after.

When we arrived at the Berkeley Hotel we were greeted by concierge and escorted to our table. Presented on the table was a card holder in a stiletto shape with my name on. The table was decorated in bright pink, yellow and green colours with tableware to match. The table was quite retro-inspired yet still elegant and luxurious at the same time.

The menu included a variety of different flavoured teas to begin with, where the waiter delivered your individual teapot to you, and also a selection of champagne and cocktails to start.

The Waiter brought out a plate of savoury sandwiches. Sandwiches included: turkey and cranberry, egg mayonnaise, salmon and crab stick; with a vegetarian option also available.

Then, my favourite course came; the desert! The cakes came in three tiers. The bottom tier were savoury cakes which included: goats cheese, duck and swordfish. Then the middle and top tier were sweet cakes which were designed around fashion designer's catwalks. Cakes included: a Moschino handbag, Jimmy choo purse, Alexander McQueen butterfly hat and more.

The mystery of the deep sea and endless space inspires the Spring/Summer '16 macro trend "Deep Summer". This is a high-summer beauty look based on an aquatic and luminescent coloured palette. Make-up products draw influences from the underwater world with fluid, watery and semi-translucent textures and submerged, layered effects.

Eyes:
An oceanic colour palette inspired by the underwater world updates a season of blue colours. Reflective greens and blues come with a luminescent, glowing, iridescent quality. Its all about layering different shades of aqua, dazzling blues and turquoise together for a dramatic, multi-tonal look.

Lips:
Red oxide and red-orange tones are important lip shades for a high-summer make-up palette. Delivering maximum impact, lip products combine shiny texture of a gloss with the colour coverage of a lipstick.

Nails:
Metallic colours are in for the Spring/Summer '16 season with a mix of black, midnight blue and emerald green to create a multi-tonal three-dimensional effect. Metallic colours help to portray a liquid sheen and wet look effect.
