PFW // Dries Van Noten

Wednesday 4th March
Dries Van Noten put a romantic spin on casual wear and evening wear by mixing prints with textured finishes to take on a grounded glamour approach.
Starting off with a presentation of casual wear, Dries Van Noten presented wide-leg trousers, pencil skirts, long-sleeved dresses, blazers, trench coats and jackets in a floral print under a clash of bohemian Edwardian and oriental influences.

The garments consisted of a rich colour scheme with burgundy, golden yellow, indigo, dark grey and moss green all being prominent.

Casual wear then swiftly turned into evening wear with macs becoming evening dresses, skirts tied up and clinched at the waist, flamboyant tops with feathers and flowers fastened at the neck and brocade-style boots on show. It was about layering individual garments together to create a dressed-up, dressed-down collection.
