Alice + Olivia go full out in the Blue and white colour scheme by contrasting the colours in this midi-length dress that widens and flares out at the skirt. The vibrant colour of blue is presented in a series of disjointed shapes that are patterned across the dress in no particular alignment. 

Adeam

If you look at first glance you're probably thinking this is a dress... Incorrect! This two-colour contrast is presented in this Adeam top and skirt in two opposing sides. On the left side of the top and skirt the midnight blue colour is dominant with two panels reaching towards the right. And on the right side of the top and skirt the contrast of pure white is formed in a thin, ruffled material that is pleated for a softer approach. 

While researching into this trend, i couldn't help but be reminded of the "Gold and white, blue and black dress" controversy that occurred last month. With the blue and white colour scheme having similar attributes; could this trend be seen as being an optical illusion?
