Before choosing which two trends I want to take on further, I thought it was best to write a few notes to help me along the journey. 

I will be choosing two trends: one trend being an Autumn/Winter '15-16 trend and the second trend being a Spring/Summer '16 trend. I will support my two trends with cross cultural references where I will explain in detail where the trend originated from, if it started from a culture or subculture, if the trend is worn in a certain way and if the trend affects peoples way of living and their lifestyle. 

I will then go on to creating mood boards of images, colours, prints, patterns and anything that inspires me and that I associate with the trend. I will use the mood boards to help me create a photo shoot plan where I will plan the setting, garments, hair and makeup and general styling to create a photo shoot based around the two trends I have chosen.
