Berkeley Hotel // "Savage Beauty" Tea

The luxury Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge, well-known for its contemporary elegance and celebrity appeal, have announced that they will be hosting a Pret-a-Portea "Savage Beauty" afternoon tea to celebrate the arrival of the anticipated Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A museum.

The Berkeley has included two of Alexander McQueen's iconic designs in their afternoon tea where guests will be treated to the designer's famous "Armadillo" shoes in the form of chocolate biscuits with cream, icing and sparkles. And the second design of the feather Butterfly Hat; created by Philip Treacy for Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer Collection in 2008, which is made with dark chocolate mousse, glazed with chocolate and red sugar butterflies.

I am absolutely gutted after hearing this news as me and the girls have already booked the normal standard afternoon fashion tea at the Berkeley for after we see the Alexander McQueen exhibition in April! Its a shame not to have the Savage Beauty afternoon tea to match! But never-the-less I'm excited for it and both sound delicious!
