The iconic 5 star luxury hotel in London - Claridges - unveils their new Easter egg; just in time for the Easter holidays and Spring... and all I can say is that we are in for a treat!

Inspired from Claridge's Art Deco black and white checker board marble lobby, the unveiling of the Easter egg portrays themes of timeless glamour and rich Art Deco heritage that is taken from the hotel's surroundings.

The Pastry team at Claridges make a different Easter egg every year of the season where one tonne of chocolate is consumed at Claridges each year. Pastry chef, Nick Patterson, has created just 100 limited edition, hand-crafted, Art Deco Easter eggs using dark, milk and white chocolate. Each egg is filled with a selection of hand-made champagne truffles and is wrapped carefully in a black and white Art Deco foil and tied with a black satin bow.

To me the Easter egg looks too good to eat! But for those who want to know where to find one, they will be available from March 28th 2015 priced at £45. I suggest those with a sweet tooth go and check them out!
