When researching into the meanings of psychedelia and the connotations around it; the bright colour scheme is something which is always associated with the term. The colour scheme of bright greens, blues, yellows, purples and oranges, couldn't help but remind me of 'Holi Festival' which I thought I should write a blog post about.

Holi Festival is a festival run throughout the Summer season which is hosted to thousands of people across certain countries on specific dates. The festival holds a range of musical talent where many musical artists perform across a main stage. Holi Festival is called the "Festival of Colours" and as music is being performed from the artists, a selection of bright colours are thrown at the audience which  paint them and their clothes. Sounds messy but I think it would be a laugh and a fun experience, and I particularly am looking forward to going to an event hosted by them in London in two weeks (pictures to follow).
