NYFW // DKNY Autumn/Winter '15-16

DKNY provided a slight back-to-school look in its Autumn/Winter '15-16 collection at New York Fashion Week; where the collection was full of solid colours and worn in a slouchy manner.
The collection consisted of sweatshirts, blazers, skirts and trousers in a pleated and asymmetric formation - with some garments also being oversized. The collection really brung out the "too cool for school" attitude with its laid back approach.
The use of colour-blocking was predominant in DKNY's collection with the garments designed in greys and bright colours such as cobalt blues, turquoise and reds; offering a strong and easily wearable collection.
Collars were high and sleeves were long and pulled over wrists so that there was a feeling of intimidation and rebellion throughout the show.
