Autumn/Winter '15-16 "Baroque" Style Board:

Evaluation
Trend Board
For my final Autumn/Winter '15-16 trend I picked the Baroque trend; I chose this trend because after researching and looking into the catwalks from London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week I saw a lot of Baroque prints displayed within garments. For the trend board towards my Autumn/Winter '15/16 "Baroque" trend, I took inspiration from architecture found at the Asamkirche in Munich, Germany, Baroque-style furniture and interior, paintings from painter Peter Paul Rubens and catwalks from designer brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Reem Acra. When researching into the Baroque styles and prints within all these topics I discovered that rich colours such as black, deep red, gold and browns were present throughout and this is why I chose to use a rich colour palette within my boards.

Style Board
For my style board towards my Autumn/Winter '15-16 "Baroque" trend I decided to dress my model in a black, V-neck floaty dress with a gold Baroque-print decoration. I chose this garment because it makes the model look elegant and extravagant; which a number of Baroque paintings from the seventh-century portray. When researching into Baroque-style Hair & Make-up, I noticed that the women had quite a pale complexion with little make-up on the face; the only make-up used was a deep red lipstick to define the lips. The hair was mostly short and in a middle parting with it done up at the back in a bun; the model I used for my photo shoot conveyed this type of hair style. I took my photographs in two different locations; one studio and one outside. In my outside photo shoot I purposefully took the photographs against architectural settings such as: wooden doors, sheds and infront of Baroque-style mirrors. If I could improve on my photo shoot I would take the photographs in a Baroque-style church.
