Now that Spring is upon us, the lace-up heel trend takes a step forward into providing a feminine and playful statement. 

With many celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner supporting this trend; the strappy, skin-baring heels give a sense of allurement by either enhancing an already glamorous outfit or by being a counterpoint for a casual look.

The lace-up trend was recently seen in Gucci's Ready-to-Wear 2015-16 collection at Milan Fashion Week on 25th February where the model strutted in a pair of black, cut-out shoes with pom-poms attached. The shoes gracefully laced up and tied highly up the calf leg.

Inspired from the catwalk and from celebrities, retailers have took interest in the lace-up trend and started selling similar products.
